Yes, the Versa Orion Radio unit is waterproof and can be submerge underwater of 1.5-meter depth for 30 minutes. The IP (Ingress Protection) Rating of Versa Orion is IP68. This means that Versa Orion is (6) Fully Dust Protected and (8) Submersible Waterproofed. Though, it should be put in mind that the covers, such as the Battery, Accessory, and SIM Covers must be properly closed before submerging it to water.

Yes, it has the same operation of used same with typical conventional radio.

• Press and hold the PTT Button then speak.
• Release when done

A prominent button in front of device is also available for easily triggering the Video Record or Stream Functionalities.

• Short Press the Video Button will execute the local Video Recording Functionality
• • Local Recordings were only saved in the Device
• Long Press the Video Button will execute the Versa Video Stream Functionality
• • Video Stream will be displayed in the designated Video Dispatcher Application.
  • All Video Streams will be recorded in Versa System for a month.
  • A copy of the recorded Video Stream will also be available in the Versa Orion’s memory indefinitely.

Versa Orion Unit can have a maximum of 2000 talk channels. Each talk channels can have a maximum  of 2000 Versa Radio/Users.

The charging time is 2 to 3 Hours using its 2A Charger.

Due to the camera functionality which requires extensive power usage, operating time of the Versa Orion Unit is around 8 to 9 Hours. Since, Versa Orion is Body Worn Camera it is advisable to at least have an extra battery. Additionality, Versa Orion has a unique uninterruptible power supply functionality, the unit will still function for 3 to 5 minutes (in recording state) when the battery was removed or being replaced.

Yes, Versa Orion can be charged using the Charging Dock accessory or via USB port.

Warning: Do not (Never) Charge the Unit using the Charging Dock and USB together as it might overload

the unit and battery.

Yes, Power Banks can also be used to charge Versa Orion Units.
