Versa Orion is more than just a standard two-way radio; it’s an IP (Internet Protocol) two-way radio with an integrated Body Worn Camera. For it to work, all it needs is a stable internet connection.

Versa Orion can connect in two ways:

• Via SIM Card
  It has two slots for Nano SIM cards. Just make sure the SIM has enough data for internet access.
• Via Wi-Fi
  The Wi-Fi setup can be configured right from the device’s interface, and it’s compatible with 2.4 GHz and 5 GHz networks.

Instead of standard radio frequencies like VHF or UHF, Versa Orion operates over Cellular Network Bands, which cover UHF to SHF bandwidths.

Coverage depends on the cellular network of the SIM card you use, but it’s also Wi-Fi compatible. This means Versa Orion can stay connected nationwide—or even globally—as long as it’s online.

Push-To-Talk (PTT) and GPS: For PTT and GPS, Versa Orion typically uses less than 500 MB per month, with average daily usage under 20 MB.

Video Streaming:

• 320P: 4.8 MB per minute (video only), 5 MB with audio
• 480P: 6.6 MB per minute (video only), 7 MB with audio
• 720P: 10.2 MB per minute (video only), 10.8 MB with audio
• 1080P: 14.4 MB per minute (video only), 16.2 MB with audio

Yes, it has an IP68 rating, meaning it’s fully dust-proof and can be submerged in up to 1.5 meters of water for 30 minutes. Just make sure the battery, accessory, and SIM covers are securely closed before submerging.
